เจาะลึกคณะดัง: เรียนต่อ Financial Technology (Fintech) ที่ประเทศอังกฤษ
สวัสดีค่ะน้องๆ วันนี้พี่จะมาให้ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับคอร์สเรียนที่กำลังเป็นที่นิยมมากๆในการไปเรียนต่ออยู่ในขณะนี้ซึ่งก็คือสาขา Fintech หรือ Financial Technology นั่นเองค่ะ สาขา Financial Technology เป็นหนึ่งในสาขาวิชาที่ได้รับความนิยมสูงสำหรับการเรียนต่อปริญญาโททางด้าน Finance เป็นอย่างมาก เนื่องมาจากความใหม่ และทันสมัยของวิชาแล้ว ในปัจจุบันได้มีการนำเทคโนโลยีมาประยุกต์ใช้ในชีวิตประจำวันซึ่งทำให้เราสะดวกมากขึ้น โดยพี่ๆจะยกตัวอย่างให้ฟังว่ามีนวัตกรรมอะไรบ้างที่เกิดจากการศึกษาทางด้าน Fintech เช่น การใช้ Mobile Banking ในการจับจ่ายซื้อของในปัจจุบัน หรือการโอนเงินต่างประเทศที่เรานั้นไม่จำเป็นต้องไปที่ธนาคารอีกต่อไป จากที่กล่าวมาเป็นเพียงการใช้เทคโนโลยีทางการเงินเบื้องต้นเท่านั้น ในอนาคตเราอาจได้เห็นเทคโนโลยีใหม่ๆชนิดอื่นเข้ามาสร้างความตื่นเต้นให้กับเทคโนโลยีการเงินอีกมาก นอกจากนี้การเรียนในประเทศอังกฤษนอกจากจะได้เรียนรู้จากทฤษฎีแล้ว ยังได้เน้นการนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ในชีวิตจริงจากประสบการณ์จริงซึ่งสอนโดยผู้เชี่ยวชาญโดยตรงอีกด้วยและในบางมหาวิทยาลัยก็ยังมีหลักสูตรฝึกงานเพิ่มเข้ามาให้นักเรียนได้มีโอกาสในการนำความรู้ที่ได้จากการเรียนไปประยุกต์ใช้ในสถานการณ์จริงอีกด้วย

University of Essex ก่อตั้งขึ้นตั้งแต่ปี 1963 เป็นมหาวิทยาลัยรัฐบาลที่ใหญ่ที่สุดของเมืองโคลเชสเตอร์ (Colchester) ในเขตการปกครองเอสเซ็ก มีทั้งหมด 3 วิทยาเขตหลัก คือ Colchester Campus, Loughton Campus และ Southend Campus ปัจจุบันมีนักเรียนลงทะเบียนเรียนทั้งหมดประมาณ 13,000 คน และกว่า 5,000 เป็นนักเรียนต่างชาติ ปัจจุบัน มหาวิทยาลัยได้รับการจัดอันดับให้อยู่ที่ 44 จากทั้งหมด 121 มหาวิทยาลัยโดย The Complete Universities Guide League Table 2020

มหาวิทยาลัยมีความภูมิใจและตั้งใจที่จะพัฒนาการเรียนการสอนให้ดีที่สุด และให้นักศึกษารู้สึกสบายใจที่สุดเมื่อเรียนที่นี่ จากผลสำรวจของ National Student Survey พบว่า 88% ของนักเรียนทั้งหมด มีประสบการณ์ที่ดีและมีความพึงพอใจตลอดระยะเวลาที่เรียนที่นี่ และ 85% มีความพึงพอใจมากกับการเรียนการสอนของ UWE

Anglia Ruskin University ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อปี ค.ศ. 1852 โดย Sir John Ruskin ตั้งอยู่ในเมือง Cambridge ชื่อ Anglia มาจากอาณาเขตที่ตั้งของเมืองอยู่ที่ Anglia Region โดยตั้งอยู่ติดกับมหาวิทยาลัย Cambridge University ที่มีชื่อเสียง มหาวิทยาลัย Anglia Ruskin University มี 2 วิทยาเขต คือที่ใจกลางเมือง Cambridge และ Chelmsford ซึ่งจะห่างออกไปจากตัวเมือง Cambridge ประมาณ 45 นาที
Anglia Ruskin University มีนักเรียนทั้งหมดที่ลงทะเบียนเรียนทั้งระดับปริญญาตรี และปริญญาโททั้งหมดกว่า 30,000 คน และมีนักเรียนต่างชาติมากถึง 2,000 กว่าคน ในที่นี้ มีนักเรียนไทยอยู่ประมาณ 26 คน
