Deakin University ก่อตั้งเมื่อปี 1974 เป็นมหาวิทยาลัยท็อป 1% ของโลก และยังเป็นที่ 1 ของรัฐวิคตอเรียในด้านการบริการและสิ่งอำนวนความสะดวกทางการศึกษา โดยผลสำรวจ Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT) 2016-2022  นอกจากนี้ Deakin University เปิดสอนทั้งหมด 15 คณะ กว่า 60 หลักสูตร ให้เลือกเรียนอีกด้วย

Foundation Program
โปรแกรม Foundation ของ Deakin College เป็นโปรแกรมเฉพาะสำหรับนักเรียนต่างชาติ เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมให้สามารถเรียนต่อในระดับ Diploma ของ Deakin College หรือเข้าศึกษา ปี 1 ของ หลักสูตรปริญญาตรีที่กำหนดไว้ของ Deakin University

หลักสูตรนี้มีให้เลือกเรียนแบบ Standard Track หรือ Extended Track
