มหาวิทยาลัย Huddersfield ได้รับรางวัล Entrepreneurial University of the year จาก Times Higher Education Awards 2012 และได้รับรางวัล University of the Year โดย Times Higher Education Awards 2013 นอกจากนี้นักศึกษาที่จบออกไปแล้วยังมีอัตราในการจ้างงานสูงอีกด้วย หลายๆหลักสูตรของมหาวิทยาลัยเป็นหลักสูตร sandwich (หลักสูตรที่มีการฝึกงานระหว่างเรียน) โดยมีที่ฝึกงาน และบริษัทที่เป็นพาร์ทเนอร์ของมหาวิทยาลัยมากมาย หลักสูตรที่ได้รับความนิยมที่สุดคือ Human and Health Science, Social Work, Teaching, Engineering และ Music Sir Patrick Stewart นอกจากนี้นักแสดงจากภาพยนต์เรื่อง Star Trek ยังได้สอนในหลักสูตร Drama ในระดับปริญญาโทของทางมหาวิทยาลัยอีกด้วย มหาวิทยาลัย Huddersfield ยังได้รับรางวัล Times Entrepreneurial University of the Year Award 2012 ได้รับรางวัล Times University of the Year Award 2013 และได้รับคะแนนความพึงพอใจสูงสุดจากนักศึกษาต่างชาติ โดย International Student Barometer
