ข้อมูลเรียนต่อปริญญาตรี ข้อมูลเรียนต่อปริญญาโท
สวัสดีครับ พบกับพี่คิดอีกแล้วใน University Review ตอนนี้เรามาถึง Episode 10 กันแล้วนะครับ ไวมากเลย เมื่อ Episode 9 ที่ผ่านมานั้น เราพากันไปชม Newcastle University มาแล้ว ใน Episode 10 นี้เรายังอยู่ที่เมือง Newcastle เหมือนเดิมนะครับ แต่คราวนี้พี่จะพาไปชมอีกมหาวิทยาลัยนึง ซึ่งก็คือ Northumbria University นั่นเองครับ ที่นี่เองก็เป็นมหาวิทยาลัยดังติดอันดับที่ 43 หรือ Top 50 ของประเทศอังกฤษเช่นกัน (อ้างอิงจาก The Complete University Guide League Table 2023)
เดินทางมาที่ Northumbria University โดย campus ของมหาวิทยาลัยจะแบ่งเป็นฝั่ง East และฝั่ง West ซึ่งระหว่าง campus จะมีสะพานแขวน หรือ Northumbria University Footbridge ที่เชื่อมต่อกัน สามารถเดินข้ามฝั่งได้อย่างสะดวกมาก
ในอาคาร Pandon Building
เริ่มต้นที่ Pandon Building ตั้งอยู่ที่ถนน Camden Street ซึ่งภายในอาคารจะเป็นที่ตั้งของ Campus Service, Finance, Human Resources, IT Service และแผนกอื่นๆ อีกหลายแผนกเลย เดินถัดมาจาก Pandon Building เพียงเล็กน้อยก็จะเจอกับ Camden Court ซึ่งเป็นที่พักของมหาวิทยาลัยที่ได้รับความนิยมสูงมาก เพราะอยู่ใกล้กับ campus มหาวิทยาลัยแบบสุดๆ เลยทีเดียว

มาในส่วนของ campus ฝั่ง East ซึ่งเป็นที่ตั้งของ Newcastle Business School และ Law School จะตั้งอยู่ในตึกเดียวกัน และ Centre of Design จะอยู่ฝั่งตรงข้ามกันโดยมีลานขนาดเล็กขั้นตรงกลางไม่ให้ดูพื้นที่คับแคบเลย อาคารเรียนของ Northumbria University มีความโมเดิร์น สวยงามและทันสมัยเป็นอย่างมาก เหมาะสำหรับเด็กรุ่นใหม่ในการมาเรียนต่อจริงๆ
กำลังเดินข้ามสะพานแขวนไปฝั่ง City Campus East
ถึงฝั่ง East แล้ว กำแพงโลกโก้มหาวิทยาลัยสูงและใหญ่มาก
อาคารฝั่งซ้ายจะเป็น Faculty of Art & Design and Social Sciences ส่วนอาคารฝั่งขวาจะเป็น Faculty of Business and Law นั่นเอง

บรรยากาศโดยรวมในอาคาร Business and Law
ฝั่งตรงข้ามก็จะเป็นอาคาร Art & Design สวยมากๆ เลย
ทางเข้าอาคาร Art & Design แบบชัดๆ หน่อย
ถัดมาเดินข้าม University Footbridge มา campus ฝั่ง West ซึ่งจะมีนักเรียนคับคั่งมากพอสมควร เพราะเป็นที่ตั้งของทั้ง University Library, Student Union และ Sport Centre นั่นเอง เช่นเดิม ในทุกอาคารจะมีการตกแต่งสไตล์โมเดิร์นและทันสมัยทั้งหมดเลย ใน University Library ก็จะมีคอมพิวเตอร์ iMac ให้นักเรียนสำหรับใช้ในการทำงานได้อย่างเพียงพอเลยทีเดียว
กำลังเดินไปฝั่ง West Campus กัน โดยข้าม University Footbridge เช่นเดิม

อาคาร Student Union ออกแบบได้สวยมาก
บรรยากาศภายในห้องสมุด
ในส่วนของ Sport Centre ถือว่าค่อนข้างใหญ่โตพอสมควรเลย ไม่ว่าจะเป็นสนาม Basketball หรือสระว่ายน้ำ สำหรับ Sport Membership ของนักเรียนที่ Northumbria University นี้จะราคาเพียง GBP200 ต่อปี (หรือ GBP18 ต่อเดือน) ในขณะที่สำหรับคนทั่วไปราคาจะอยู่ที่ GBP32 ต่อเดือน

จาก Sport Centre ของมหาวิทยาลัย เดินผ่านมาทางถนน Northumberland Road ประมาณ 5 นาทีก็จะเจอกับ Drill Hall ซึ่งเป็นที่ตั้งของ St. George’s University Grenada ใน campus ของ Northumbria University นั่นเองครับ
จบแล้วกับรีวิวของ Northumbria University นะครับ เนื่องจากพี่ๆ มีเวลาค่อนข้างจำกัด เลยอาจจะไม่ได้พาไปชมมหาวิทยาลัยได้ทั่วถึงทุกจุด แต่คิดว่าน้องๆ น่าจะพอเห็นภาพรวมบรรยากาศของ Northumbria University พอสมควรแล้ว ส่วนตัวพี่ค่อนข้างจะชอบเมือง Newcastle มาก ดังนั้น Northumbria University ก็เป็นอีกหนึ่งมหาวิทยาลัยที่น่าเรียนสำหรับเมืองนี้เหมือนกันครับ เพราะว่าตัว campus มหาวิทยาลัยอยู่ในเมือง ทำให้การเดินทางสะดวกด้วย ผู้คนในเมืองก็ค่อนข้าง Friendly อีกด้วย ในครั้งหน้าพี่จะมารีวิวมหาวิทยาลัยที่ไหนต่อไป อย่าลืมมาติดตามกันต่อนะครับ
