พระราชวัง Buckingham (Buckingham Palace) เป็นที่ประทับอย่างเป็นทางการของราชวงศ์อังกฤษ ตั้งแต่สมเด็จพระราชินีนาถวิกตอเรีย (Queen Victoria) และลูก ๆ ของเธอเข้ามาประทับในปี พ. ศ. 2380 ในฐานะที่ประทับของราชวงศ์ แต่ปัจจุบันเป็นหนึ่งในสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวที่โดดเด่นที่สุดในสหราชอาณาจักร นักท่องเที่ยวสามารถเยี่ยมชมพระราชวังได้ตั้งแต่การชมการเปลี่ยนเวรยาม ไปจนถึงการเยี่ยมชมภายในของพระราชวังอันโอ่อ่าแห่งนี้
สำหรับในช่วงฤดูร้อน นักท่องเที่ยวสามารถเที่ยวชม State Rooms หรือท้องพระโรงที่งดงามได้ทั้ง 19 ห้อง ซึ่งได้รับการตกแต่งด้วยสมบัติที่ยิ่งใหญ่ที่สุดของพระราชวัง รวมถึงภาพวาดของ Rembrandt, Rubens และ Van Dyck ศิลปินอันโด่งดังอีกด้วย นอกจากช่วงฤดูร้อนแล้ว ยังสามารถชมความสวยงามของพระราชวังจากด้านนอกได้ตลอดทั้งปี

The State Rooms หรือท้องพระโรงของพระราชวัง เปิดให้ประชาชนทั่วไปเข้าชมได้ตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2536 โดยจะเปิดให้เข้าชมได้ในช่วงเวลาจำกัด ตั้งแต่กลางเดือนกรกฎาคมถึงสิ้นเดือนกันยายน การจัดแสดง “Buck House” ต่อสาธารณะในตอนแรกมีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อระดมทุนเพื่อซ่อมแซมปราสาทวินด์เซอร์ (Windsor Castle) หลังจากไฟไหม้ครั้งใหญ่ในปี พ.ศ. 2535 ปรากฎว่าเป็นที่นิยมมากจนพระราชินียังคงอนุญาตให้เข้าชมทุกฤดูร้อน แต่อย่าคาดหวังว่าจะได้เห็น Queen Elizabeth หรือสมาชิกของราชวงศ์ในการเยี่ยมชม เมื่อพระราชวังเปิดให้คนทั่วไปเข้าชมได้ พระราชินีจะไปที่บ้านพักแห่งหนึ่งนอกเมืองแทนหรือเยี่ยมชมพระราชวังโฮลีรูดเฮาส์ (Palace of Holyroodhouse) ใน Edinburgh เป็นประจำทุกปี
