    International Foundation Year 

    โปรแกรม International Foundation Year ที่ Royal Holloway, University of London เป็นหลักสูตรสำหรับนักศึกษาต่างชาติ รวมถึงนักศึกษาไทยที่ต้องการเรียนต่อระดับปริญญาตรีที่ประเทศอังกฤษ เนื่องจากการศึกษาระดับมัธยมศึกษาของประเทศไทยใช้เวลาเรียนน้อยกว่าประเทศ อังกฤษ 1 ปี นักศึกษาไทยจึงถูกกำหนดให้ต้องเรียนหลักสูตร Foundation 1 ปีก่อนเพื่อปรับความรู้  ทั้งนี้ไม่ได้ทำให้เสียเวลาเรียนแต่อย่างใด เพราะ มหาวิทยาลัยของอังกฤษใช้เวลาเรียนในระดับปริญญาตรีเพียง 3 ปีเท่านั้น

     

    หลักเกณฑ์ในการรับสมัคร

    • จบมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ด้วยเกรดเฉลี่ยสะสม GPA 2.50
    • จบมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ด้วยเกรดเฉลี่ยสะสม GPA 2.00 (เกรดเฉลี่ยวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ และ วิทยาศาสตร์ 2.00)
    • IELTS 5.0 overall (minimum 5.0 in writing)

    ‘No standard offer’ – Those applying for the IFY with the intention of studying a degree listed above as having ‘no standard offer’ will be referred to the relevant academic department for assessment. If it is advised a conditional offer for the degree will be offered along with an offer for the IFY then progression grades will be confirmed.

    An additional condition of entry in progressing from the IFY to an undergraduate degree in Music will be dependent on students reaching the equivalent of a Grade 7 in music theory and practical performance. Additional practical and theory music tuition can be provided on top of your IFY tuition. A short interview and audition may be required to assess your level in order to make a decision on whether you are permitted to progress to a Music degree programme at Royal Holloway.
