Loughborough University ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อปี 1909 ซึ่งถือว่าเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยที่เก่าแก่แห่งหนึ่งในอังกฤษ โดยมหาลัยตั้งอยู่ใจกลางเมือง Loughborough ปัจจุบันมีนักศึกษากว่า 16,000 คน  โดยเป็นนักศึกษาต่างชาติ จากกว่า 100 ประเทศทั่วโลก นอกจากนี้มหาวิทยาลัย Loughborough University ยัง ถูกจัดอันดับให้อยู่ใน Top 10 มหาวิทยาลัยในอังกฤษถึงสิบปีซ้อน

Undergraduate Foundation Programme (UFP)

Undergraduate Foundation Programme ที่ Loughborough University เป็นหลักสูตรสำหรับนักศึกษาต่างชาติ รวมถึงนักศึกษาไทยที่ต้องการเรียนต่อปริญญาตรีที่ประเทศอังกฤษ เนื่องจากการศึกษาระดับมัธยมศึกษาของประเทศไทยใช้เวลาเรียนน้อยกว่าประเทศ อังกฤษ 1 ปี นักศึกษาไทยจึงถูกกำหนดให้ต้องเรียนหลักสูตร Foundation 1 ปีก่อนเพื่อปรับความรู้ เมื่อเรียนจบและสอบผ่านเกณฑ์ตามที่มหาวิทยาลัยกำหนดจะสามารถเข้าเรียนต่อที่ Loughborough University อีก 3 ปี รวมทั้งหมดตลอดหลักสูตรเรียน 4 ปี

หลักเกณฑ์ในการรับสมัคร

• จบมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ด้วยเกรดเฉลี่ยสะสม GPA 2.50
• จบมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ด้วยเกรดเฉลี่ยสะสม GPA 2.00
• 5.0 IELTS or equivalent, with no single element less than 5.0
