สนามบินที่สะดวกในการเดินทาง: London Heathrow Airport และสามารถเดินทางต่อจาก London โดยรถไฟ ใช้เวลาโดยประมาณ 1 ชั่วโมง 20 นาที

University of Leicester ก่อตั้งขึ้นในปี 1921 เป็นมหาวิทยาลัยแห่งความภาคภูมิใจของสหราชอาณาจักรตั้งแต่อดีตจนถึงปัจจุบัน และจัดเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยที่เก่าแก่ที่สุดแห่งหนึ่งของประเทศอังกฤษ University of Leicester ตั้งอยู่ ณ เมือง Leicester บนวิทยาเขตดั้งเดิมที่สวยงาม ใกล้กับศูนย์กลางเมือง Leicester แบบวิคตอเรียนที่งดงาม Leicester เป็นเมืองซึ่งมีความร่วมสมัย ผู้คนเป็นมิตร เหมาะแก่การศึกษาต่อต่างประเทศและการใช้ชีวิตเป็นอย่างยิ่ง ปัจจุบันมีประชากรราว 3 แสนคน การเดินทางท่องเที่ยวสะดวกสบาย ง่ายต่อการวางแผนการเดินทางเนื่องจากเป็นเมืองที่ตั้งอยู่ใจกลางประเทศอังกฤษ อยู่ห่างจากลอนดอนขึ้นไปทางเหนือ 160 กิโลเมตร ใช้เวลาเดินทางประมาณ 75 นาทีโดยรถไฟ

University of Leicester เปิดสอนมานานกว่า 90 ปี ในระดับปริญญาตรี ปริญญาโท และปริญญาเอก มีหลากหลายหลักสูตรที่น่าสนใจ เช่น Arts, Humanities, Law, Science, Engineering, Social Science Medicine, Biological Science และ Psychology และยังมีหลักสูตรการเรียนระบบทางไกลที่ขึ้นชื่ออีกด้วย

International Foundation Year 

โปรแกรม International Foundation Year ที่ University of Leicester เป็นหลักสูตรสำหรับนักศึกษาต่างชาติ รวมถึงนักศึกษาไทยที่ต้องการเรียนต่อระดับปริญญาตรีที่ประเทศอังกฤษ เนื่องจากการศึกษาระดับมัธยมศึกษาของประเทศไทยใช้เวลาเรียนน้อยกว่าประเทศ อังกฤษ 1 ปี นักศึกษาไทยจึงถูกกำหนดให้ต้องเรียนหลักสูตร Foundation 1 ปีก่อนเพื่อปรับความรู้  ทั้งนี้ไม่ได้ทำให้เสียเวลาเรียนแต่อย่างใด เพราะ มหาวิทยาลัยของอังกฤษใช้เวลาเรียนในระดับปริญญาตรีเพียง 3 ปีเท่านั้น

หลักเกณฑ์ในการรับสมัคร

• จบมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ด้วยเกรดเฉลี่ยสะสม GPA 3.00
• จบมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ด้วยเกรดเฉลี่ยสะสม GPA 2.50
• มีเกรดเฉลี่ยในสาขาที่เกี่ยวข้อง 3.00 ขึ้นไป
